Originally in Arabic, this manual did circulate in the very early hours of the revolution in Egypt. A friend translated it into English and after gauging pros and cons whether to publish it or not, here it is. 15 pages, some information being blurred, from the original 26 pages. The Original in Arabic will not be published.
The manual is partially based on the experiences of the youth from Tunisia, where this year`s revolutionary wave started. And it is partially based on experiences going back as far as to the overthrow of the Slobodan Milosevic system in Ex-Yugoslavia, in October 2000.
A group of young people and students founded Otpor (transcription from Serbian; English: resistance), using theories on nonviolent actions. Now, at the Belgrade University, Otpor provides courses on nonviolent actions and is often called revolution exporter. Manuals and films are available in many languages and can be adapted to any locations, systems and requirements.

Recently the Swiss daily national newspaper NZZ published an article claiming, that mental, logistical and financial support did always and still is coming from Qatar, quoting Mohson Marzouk, oppositionist from Tunisia. 2007 approx 500 Human Rights Activists from all over the Arab World gathered in Doha, Qatar, to conclude the establishing of the Arab Democracy Foundation ADF.
